For the last 2 years, I've felt a need to express my self in ways in addition to photography, scrap booking, and crochetting..  I've taken several art classes using lots of different media, but nothing seemed right.  This past weekend, however, was incredible!  I attended 2 workshops on colors and collage and something clicked -- I haven't been able to stop!  If anyone in the Raleigh area gets a chance to take a class taught by Ophelia Staton, grab it!  She is a very good teacher and a wonderfully supportive artist.  And thanks to my good friend Alice Christianson for introducing me to inks, pigments, and lots of other 'crafty' things that are now so much fun!  Thanks also to Ophelia for her patience and enthusiasm!
